Wellbeing for the Employee

Wellbeing training is a complex subject that ultimately improves self-management skills and self-awareness.

We all have our own words to describe what wellbeing means to us and it is made up of many factors.  When asked about your wellbeing, how do you respond?

MindFit BodyFit is an introductory programme that trains a wellbeing mindset to better enable self-management of work-life balance and physical, mental and emotional health.

The principles and models used are taken from HR personal development training, life coaching teachings and mind/body fitness knowledge which have been moulded into a workable wellbeing package and a time-efficient course. All have been tried and tested.

The following 3 aspects are considered enabling the employee to prepare themselves to move through times of challenge and opportunity, which is precisely when an individual needs to grow, with greater ease:

  • The level of satisfaction experienced e.g. home/work life - is this balanced?

  • The mind/body connection where physical health is maintained and the emotional content of the moment is balanced and respected. (physiological aspect).

  • Good mental health via mindfulness, meditation and positive thinking. (mental awareness aspect).

The following 3 benefits are considered:

  • MFBF allows an individual to find their own set of keys, unlock their own potential and find their unique combination to dealing with stress and uncomfortable situations that may be thrown their way.

  • It is said it is far easier to fall into the pit of negativity than into the light of positivity and MFBF with it’s fundamental training principles of Purpose, Passion, Positivity and Potential will help these, literally come to life.

  • In so committing to this type of learning, the employee/individual creates appropriate boundaries, routines and strategies that support home and work needs leading to actions that stabilise and build greater wellbeing.

“If we try to secure the wellbeing of others, we will, at the same time, create the conditions for our own”.

Wellbeing for the Business

Ask yourself as an employer: ‘If our people are our biggest asset, are they, with our guidance, tools, training and support, in the best mental health and physical shape they can be, to do the job we are paying them to do to their best ability and are they at their most productive?”

MindFit BodyFit believes a business that centres its’ operations around their people produces its own winning formula for success. One where creative solutions, quality working relationships, performance and productivity all increase.

Giving an individual the tools and techniques to balance their home-work-health lives in the way they see fit, can be seen as a new give/ perk. The leaders and employers of tomorrow, need to be the leaders and employers of today and encourage an employee to work to their natural parameters provided of course, it doesn’t interfere with the running of the business. In return, a better working partnership is formed between managers and their staff as open conversations are held rather than one’s that take place after anxiety and stress have worked their way through, or worse still, one’s that never take place at all.

The MFBF wellbeing training process is holistic and sustainable and is further supported through the MFBF network that includes policy writing and management training workshops.  With a MFBF partnering network established, a wellbeing policy can be drawn up for your business to outline a coherent strategy and mark the beginnings of a wellbeing cultural change. Further, Management training develops people managing skills and helps to bring creativity, empathy and compassion to your business. All the more essential when it is understood that wellbeing is defined by the employee, not the business.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • What strategy do you have to ensure not only productivity but performance aren’t harmed in our new era?

  • What if your business in the future was proud to say we look after our staff wellbeing as much as we look after our profits.

  • How are you going to do it?  Who will you use to give it time?

And that is what MFBF wellbeing training does – builds and sustains, wellbeing actions and awareness.

Can you afford NOT to give time to wellbeing?
